Krymchak is the Turkic language of the Krymchaks, the Rabbanite Jews of Crimea, written in Hebrew characters. It differed from neighbouring Karaim and possessed a literature of chronicles and religious anthologies (the jonk). The community's extermination in the Holocaust reduced Krymchak to a handful of speakers.
