Judeo-Tajik (Bukhori) is the language of the Bukharan Jews, a Central Asian Judeo-Persian variety traditionally written in Hebrew characters. It carries a rich tradition of song and poetry, notably the shashmaqam genre. Today it survives mainly in the diasporas of Israel and the United States.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
