Kabbalah develops a doctrine of the transmigration of souls: gilgul, the reincarnation of a soul in a new body to complete its rectification, and ibbur, the temporary "impregnation" of one soul by another. Appearing in the Sefer ha-Bahir and later systematized by Lurianic Kabbalah, these notions explain the destiny of souls and their repair across successive lives.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
