Daf Yomi ("page of the day") is a worldwide study program consisting of reading a double page of the Babylonian Talmud each day, completing the whole in about seven and a half years. Launched in 1923 by Rabbi Meir Shapiro at the Agudath Israel conference, it synchronizes the study of hundreds of thousands of learners. Completing a cycle is celebrated by the Siyum HaShas ceremony.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
