The Shulchan Arukh ("the Set Table"), composed by Rabbi Joseph Caro in Safed and printed in 1565, is the most widely adopted code of Jewish law. Organized in four parts (Orach Chayim, Yoreh De'ah, Even ha-Ezer, Choshen Mishpat), it concisely synthesizes halakhic rulings. Completed by the Rema's glosses for Ashkenazi practice, it remains the practical reference of halakhah.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
