חמש מדרגות הנפש

Kabbalah elaborates a spiritual anthropology distinguishing several levels of the soul: nefesh (the vital breath), ruach (the spirit), neshamah (the higher soul), and then chayah and yechidah at the loftiest degrees. Each level corresponds to a degree of consciousness and closeness to the divine. This doctrine illuminates the inner life, sleep, death, and the quest for spiritual elevation.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
