Intersection register · custodian, not owner
The Amidah, also called the Shemoneh Esreh (Eighteen Benedictions), is the central prayer of the Jewish rite, recited standing three times a day. It comprises blessings of praise, petition, and thanksgiving, whose content changes on Shabbat and festivals. Instituted by the Men of the Great Assembly, it forms the heart of every service and is first said silently.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
