Hospitality (hakhnasat orhim), illustrated by Abraham welcoming three visitors, is a central mitsva of communal life: sheltering and feeding the traveler, the student, the poor. It structures inns, fraternities and Shabbat customs, and connects with the love of the stranger (ger) prescribed by the Torah.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
