Astrology provoked opposing stances in Judaism. Abraham Ibn Ezra devoted several treatises to it, regarding it as a science of celestial influences, while Maimonides firmly rejected it as superstition contrary to reason. The Talmud itself hesitates, as expressed in the phrase "ein mazal le-Yisrael" (Israel is not subject to the stars).
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
