Joseph Albo (c. 1380-1444), a disciple of Hasdai Crescas, participated in the Disputation of Tortosa (1413-1414) against Christian theologians. His Sefer ha-Ikkarim reduces Jewish faith to three fundamental principles: the existence of God, revelation, and reward and punishment. This systematization of dogma was widely circulated and nourished Jewish apologetics against Christianity.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
