Shemini Atzeret is a distinct festival closing the Sukkot cycle, when the Prayer for Rain (Tefillat Geshem) is recited. Simchat Torah, observed the same day or the next depending on the rite, marks the completion and renewal of the annual Torah-reading cycle. Worshippers dance with the scrolls during the seven processions (hakafot) around the synagogue.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
