Paris, 1879. 2. Letter handwritten by Rabbi Alfred Levy (1840-1919), chief rabbi of Lyon during the years 1880-1908 and later chief rabbi of France (after the death of rabbi Zadok Hacohen). Written on official stationery of the Lyon rabbinate, 1889. Sizes and condition vary.
