Eight stamps of the "Enjoyment Tax" issued by the municipality of Netanya, in denominations of 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 agorot, [circa 1953]. The "Enjoyment Tax" is a municipal tax levied on purchasers of cinema entrance tickets and entertainment shows during the period of austerity (the stamps were affixed to entrance tickets), as anchored in the "Public Entertainments Ordinance" (1935). Each sheet contains 33 stamps (except the 15 agorot sheet, which contains 32 stamps). Condition: very good.
