Verses of "And he made a covenant with him" from the Song of the Sea, ending with the verse "Hear O Israel", the father's blessing at the time of circumcision ["to bring him into the covenant of Abraham our father"], and the blessing "Just as he entered the covenant". Fine sofer script on thick paper. The text is written alternately in black and red ink, to distinguish between what is said by the mohel and what is said by the sandak, according to the custom cited by the legal authorities. * Attached is a page printed on a typewriter, containing the father's blessing text in Latin characters.
