Considered the father of Hungarian reform and was the first to preach in Hungarian in a synagogue [the sermons presented here are from the early period of his tenure in Szeged]. * Letter from Leopold Löw, and three letters from his son Dr. Emanuel Löw (5614–5704), Neolog rabbi, linguist, botanist and renowned scholar, who was appointed Chief Rabbi of Szeged after his father's death.
