Letter from Rabbi Shlomo Schick, Chief Rabbi (Av Bet Din) of Karcag, to the leaders of the Karlsburg community. Karcag (Hungary), 5637 [1877]. The renowned scholar Rabbi Shlomo Tzvi Schick (5614–5676), student of Maharam Schick (a relative; Rashi Tzvi composed works on him and on the history of the Schick family), served as Chief Rabbi of the city of Karcag from 5629 onwards. A celebrated rabbi and author of Responsa Rashban, Siddur Rashban, and other works. 28 cm. Good condition, fold marks.
