* Megillat Ester, writing of the Ashkenazi Ari (Hasidic), in particularly fine script, characteristic of the Russia-Poland region, [late 19th century?]. Parchment height approximately 11 cm. Eleven lines, good to fair condition, ink faded in some pages and black in others. It is rare to see an eleven-line Megillah from such an early period in Hasidic script. (See "Kedem" catalogue sale 22, item 5). * Megillat Ester, with "The King", in Wallachian script (Old Sefardi), [early 20th century]. Parchment height approximately 13 cm. Fourteen lines, fair condition, worn, stained and torn. Ink faded in most pages. Erased dedication on the parchment binding.
