Manuscript, Book of Mekor Ḥayim, on the laws of ritual slaughter, by Rabbi Yeḥia Tsalaḥ the Maharitz. Beautiful handwriting decorated with colorful ornaments. Reza'a (Yemen), 19th century. On the first and last pages are various writings and signatures of owners, some from the beginning of the 20th century (5663 [1903]) and some earlier [apparently written during the author's lifetime, who died in 5619 [1859]]. Menorah for the victor, riddles and more. 45 pages, 18 cm. Good to medium condition, stains and slight wear. New binding.
