Correspondence concerning the attempts to achieve a certificate to immigrate to Palestine for Imre Bohrer, residing in Hungary (efforts were done by his uncle in Jerusalem). Eretz Israel and Hungary, 1938-1944. Germany, Hungarian and Hebrew. Bohrer, born in 1921, was member of the HaMizrahi movement and the Zionim Klali'yim movement and applied for a permit to leave Hungary and study in Israel. In June 1944 the certificate for his Aliya was received from the Aliya Department of the Jewish Agency, through the Red Cross in Geneva. It is possible that the certificate arrived too late. Lot of about 15 letters and documents. Sizes and conditions vary.
