An eternal memento celebrating the completion of the Torah. Single leaf printed by J.M. Elenberg, Shanghai, February 1943. Hebrew and Russian. Program of the celebration ceremony on the occasion of the completion of writing the Torah in "Ohel Moshe" synagogue in Shanghai: Minha prayer accompanied by a choir, speech delivered by Rabbi Meir Ashkenazi, speech by Gabai Poliak; writing of the letters, sewing, reading, Kadish and lifting the Torah; at the end – Mitzvah dinner. Leaf 23.5 cm. Printed in blue ink on sky-blue paper. Good condition. Minor creases, slight folding-marks and some staining.
