27 postcards sent by Jewish families from the Theresienstadt ghetto (Terezín, Czech Republic), 1943–1944. A rare and impressive collection of special postcards printed by the Nazi authorities for use by prisoners in the Theresienstadt ghetto (which was presented as a "model ghetto") and sent from within the ghetto. The postcards are arranged carefully in an album with annotations highlighting the various differences; accompanying the postcards is comprehensive research on the differences among the various types of postcards and on the graphic and typographic differences between them (in German). On the first page are five cut-out sections from postcards of the Theresienstadt ghetto. Good condition.
