Journal en yiddish, publié quotidiennement sauf le samedi et les jours de fête juifs, fondé à New York le 3 février 1899 par Jacob Saphirstein et Joseph L. Rosenbaum ; actuellement (1904) publié par la Jewish Press Publishing Company. Son premier rédacteur était George Selikovich ; parmi ses principaux collaborateurs ont figuré Philip Krantz, Ḥayyim Malitz, Jacob Magidoff et M. Seifert. N. M. Shaikevich, le romancier yiddish, y a écrit plusieurs longs feuilletons. Son édition hebdomadaire, le « Jewish Journal », a paru pour la première fois le 26 mai 1899.
