Un long poème sur la ligature d'Isaac sur l'autel ('AḲedah), écrit par Judah ben Samuel ibn Abbas, un rabbin du douzième siècle de Fez, destiné à être chanté avant le son du shofar, et ainsi utilisé dans la liturgie sépharade du Nouvel An. Il est associé là à un très ancien chant morisque, qui est caractéristique de son origine dans les villes du sud de l'Espagne, et qui montre bien le mécanisme général des anciens chants, et la construction tonale des intonations traditionnelles dans les congrégations sépharades. C'est particulièrement le cas dans la prédominance du troisième et cinquième degrés de l'échelle, et dans la combinaison et la répétition de brèves phrases en phrases de différentes longueurs.
