A family, a place, a community, an institution, a text, a figure, an object or a theme missing from the catalogue? Propose them. Your proposal creates a record in draft that a reviewer will examine before publication.
You submit a proposal
Provide the name and the type — a family, a place, a figure, a work… No need to document everything: what you know is enough to begin.
The team verifies
The editorial committee cross-checks sources, reviews spelling, and connects the proposal to the right register — lived memory and scholarly history.
The Great Book is written
Once validated, the entry joins the catalogue and a Great Book is devoted to it: a living notice, sourced and enriched over time.
Nothing is lost
Duplicates are merged, never discarded. You may complete your proposal or submit others as often as you wish.
Each proposal is read by a member of the team. The point is not to be exhaustive, but to signal what is missing — we complete it afterwards.
