Intersection register · custodian, not owner
Tuczyn is a shtetl in Volhynia, in present-day western Ukraine. The Jewish community distinguished itself during the liquidation of the ghetto in September 1942, when hundreds of Jews armed themselves and resisted against Nazi forces and their collaborators, in one of the rare armed Jewish uprisings in a rural setting.
