Talne (Talnoe), a town in central Ukraine, was the seat of the Talne Hassidic dynasty, founded in the nineteenth century by descendants of the Rabbi of Tchernobyl. The Hassidic court was renowned for its splendor and its music. The community was destroyed during the Shoah.
