Intersection register · custodian, not owner
Tafraout, a town in the central Anti-Atlas (Tiznit province), was renowned for its Jewish goldsmiths and jewelers, whose silver creations adorned the Amazigh women of the region. These artisans constituted an essential element of the local economy and intercommunal exchange. They emigrated to Tiznit, Agadir, and Israel in the mid-20th century.
