Siliana is the chief town of the eponymous governorate of central Tunisia. A small Jewish community of merchants and artisans lived there before the mass emigration of the twentieth century toward Tunis, then to France and Israel.

Great Book being written

This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.

The days of this book

This book bears no memory day yet. The sources that document Siliana give years and centuries, never a day; we do not invent one.

You know a date — a remembrance, a hilloula, the anniversary of a departure? Give it its day
