Intersection register · custodian, not owner
An ancient episcopal city in Alsace (Haut-Rhin), Rouffach was home to a medieval Jewish community attested from the thirteenth century, as well as a modern presence documented in nineteenth-century consistorial archives. The Alsatian Jews of Rouffach paid a heavy toll during the persecutions of the fourteenth century.
