Ropczyce (Ropshitz) is a shtetl in Galicia (Poland, Subcarpathia) celebrated as the seat of the Hasidic court of Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Horowitz (1760–1827), founder of the Ropshitz dynasty. The Jewish community was exterminated in 1942, deported to Bełżec.
