Lieu d'exécution construit par les premiers inquisiteurs à Séville en 1481 ; il était orné de quatre grandes statues représentant des prophètes. L'architecte, en tant qu'adepte du judaïsme, fut l'un des premiers à devenir victime de l'Inquisition. Le Quemadero ne fut détruit qu'en 1809, quand le matériau fut utilisé pour les fortifications lors de l'invasion française de l'Andalousie.
