An-Nasiriyya (Nassiriya) is a city in southern Mesopotamia, in Iraq, on the Euphrates, near the ancient site of Ur. A Jewish community resided there in the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century, integrated within the network of Iraqi Jewish communities. It participated in the mass exodus to Israel during Operation Ezra and Nehemiah (1950–1951).
