Manresa, a Catalan city in the Bages, possessed a medieval Jewish aljama attested in notarial and royal Aragonese sources from the eleventh through fifteenth centuries. As throughout the Crown of Aragon, the community was severely affected by the pogroms of 1391 and definitively expelled in 1492.
