M'Hamid el Ghizlane is a ksar at the southern end of the Drâa valley (province of Zagora, Morocco) that served as a caravan relay on trans-Saharan routes. Jewish merchants are attested there between the 16th and 19th centuries, participating in trade with sub-Saharan Africa.
