Region: Italie (Lombardie)
Intersection register · custodian, not owner
A Lombard city on the Adda, Lodi was home to a medieval Jewish community documented from the 14th to the 16th centuries. Jews there were primarily moneylenders before being expelled during the restrictions imposed in the Milanese duchies under Spanish domination.
Great Book being written
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
The days of this book
This book bears no memory day yet. The sources that document Lodi give years and centuries, never a day; we do not invent one.
You know a date — a remembrance, a hilloula, the anniversary of a departure? Give it its day
