Locality in the United States where a Jewish cemetery is catalogued: Lebanon Jewish Cemetery — Upper Valley Jewish Community. No burial records are filed: the catalogue records the existence of the site, but does not document its gravestones. Recorded by: OpenStreetMap. This notice is based solely on the cemetery catalogue: it contains no information about the history of the community, its foundation, or its extent — a cemetery survey cannot know these things.

Introduction

The days of this book
This book bears no memory day yet. The sources that document Lebanon give years and centuries, never a day; we do not invent one.
