Kalinkavichy (Homyel region, Belarus) was an important railway junction on the Minsk–Gomel line. Its Jewish community, formed in the 19th century with the rise of the railroad, was almost entirely exterminated during the massacres perpetrated by the German occupation forces from 1941 onward.

The days of this book

This book bears no memory day yet. The sources that document Kalinkavichy give years and centuries, never a day; we do not invent one.

You know a date — a remembrance, a hilloula, the anniversary of a departure? Give it its day
