Ha-On is a site in the southern Golan (eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee) that has yielded the remains of a Late Antique synagogue (third–fifth century). The site, identified during Israeli archaeological surveys, is part of the remarkable density of Jewish communities in the Golan during that period.

The days of this book

This book bears no memory day yet. The sources that document Ha-On (Golan sud) give years and centuries, never a day; we do not invent one.
