Dohuk (Duhok) is a city in Iraqi Kurdistan whose Jewish community, speakers of Neo-Aramaic (NENA), is documented since the 16th century. This presence is part of the broader network of Judeo-Aramaic communities of the Zagros and Taurus mountains, which maintained their own liturgical and linguistic traditions.
