Intersection register · custodian, not owner
Bouanane is a ksar in eastern Morocco, in the Figuig province, on the borders of the Algerian Sahara. A small Jewish community lived there until the mid-20th century, primarily engaged in small trade and mediation with trans-Saharan caravans. It emigrated toward Oujda, Casablanca, or Israel in the 1950s–1960s.
