Basavilbaso is a small town in Entre Ríos, Argentina, formed around a Jewish agricultural colony founded in 1892 under the auspices of the Jewish Colonization Association (JCA). It was one of the first Jewish agricultural colonies in South America, with a synagogue and Hebrew school.
