Region: Maroc (Souss, province de Taroudant)
Intersection register · custodian, not owner
Aoulouz is a town in the Souss valley (Taroudant province, Morocco), at the foot of the High Atlas. A small Jewish community lived there, integrated into the local economic fabric, particularly crafts and agricultural trade. As with all the Jews of the Souss, most of the community left the region in the 1950s–1960s for Agadir, Casablanca, and Israel.

The days of this book
This book bears no memory day yet. The sources that document Aoulouz give years and centuries, never a day; we do not invent one.
You know a date — a remembrance, a hilloula, the anniversary of a departure? Give it its day
