Łańcut (Lantsut) is a small town in Galicia (Poland, Subcarpathia) whose Jewish community, present since the sixteenth century, possessed a seventeenth-century baroque synagogue classified as a historic monument and preserved to this day. The Jews of Łańcut were deported to Bełżec in 1942.
