Aït Yahia Moussa, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas in the region of Séfrou, was home to Jewish families coexisting with the Amazigh population. These rural Jews practiced peddling and crafts (jewelry, weaving), playing a role of economic mediation between the tribes. They emigrated to Séfrou, Fès, and Israel during the 20th century.
