Danish Jewish Museum opened in June 2004 in the former Galley House of the Royal Library, designed by architect Daniel Libeskind around the Hebrew word "Mitzvah." It exhibits objects from Danish Jewish history and commemorates the rescue of Danish Jews in October 1943. A major reference point for Scandinavian Jewish memory.
