Region: New York, États-Unis
Arising from meetings begun in 1955-1956 at the instigation of Philip Klutznick and Nahum Goldmann, and formally established in 1959, the Conference of Presidents federates about fifty major American Jewish organizations. Based in New York, it acts as the consensus voice of the American Jewish community, notably on Israeli security.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
