Holocaust memorial museum opened in 1995 in Terre Haute by survivor Eva Mozes Kor, who with her twin sister was subjected to experiments by Josef Mengele at Auschwitz. The sole Holocaust museum in Indiana, it was destroyed by arson in 2003, then rebuilt and reopened in 2005.
