הספרייה הלאומית המרכזית של רומא — אוסף עברי
Region: Rome, Italie
History register · custodian, not owner
The Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma, distinct from the Biblioteca Casanatense and the Vatican Library, holds several hundred Hebrew manuscripts and incunabula acquired during the dissolution of religious institutions following Italian unification in 1870. It contains kabbalistic texts, illuminated Esther scrolls, and documents relating to the Jewish communities of Rome and Latium. These collections are described in the Censimento dei Manoscritti Ebraici in Italia. They are accessible to researchers in the library's specialized reading rooms.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
