Un Yeshaya Ajiman établit en 1820 une hôtellerie à Jaffa pour les voyageurs juifs se rendant à Jérusalem ; son fils Barukh Ajiman fit un don de 1 800 groush pour une école rabbinique à Florence vers 1820.
