Né en 1978 à Kryvyï Rih dans une famille juive. Acteur et producteur avant la politique, il est élu président de l'Ukraine en 2019. Ses arrière-grands-parents ont été tués pendant l'occupation nazie de l'Ukraine, et son grand-père Semyon Zelensky a servi dans l'Armée rouge. C'est une figure publique moderne bien documentée, non un auteur patrimonial.
